What is discipleship to Jesus and why does it matter? I believe that God has invited each of us to live – right now - in His Kingdom. This is a radically different life than most of us are living. Thanks to my friend Jough for pointing me to this site to set up a blog for Cross Streams. We are on a journey together to discover the principles of Kingdom-living. In that pursuit, there are many struggles. I'll attempt to be totally honest and transparent with these posting as I share from my own journey and make observations about the transformational process.

You know, sandy, i'd like to see us start struggling together, community transparency maybe? I don't know, but i need people to depend on, so i need to know their sh*t, so they should know my sh*t, i guess thats what breeds trust.
There's this essay on being mentored by Henri Nouwen. It's written by a guy named Jeff Sharp. It's pretty good. Especially for those of us that are male and work with youth.
